Andrew Scott Denlinger is a musician, singer, songwriter and producer from Chicago, IL.

“I have always been attracted to a wide variety of music. I began playing music when I was a young, starting violin and piano lessons at the age of four or five. By the time I was a teenager I had fallen in love with rock n roll. I owned every Metallica album. Bands like Pantera, Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Offspring, and Sevendust were on constant repeat. When the Foo Fighters released “The Colour and The Shape” I’m pretty sure I listened to that album almost every day for a year straight.

After getting my first bass guitar when I was 14 I immediately started playing in bands. There is something about playing with and for other people that felt right and was fun. Since then I have been a part of multiple rock, metal, country, gospel, and pop acts. I may be a rock n roll kid at heart, but when it comes down to it, I just love good music. I’m a sucker for a good hook, no matter how it’s produced. You give me a melody that grabs you and I’ll be humming it for the next week!

I love to create, to write, and produce music. I could spend days in the studio, tweaking parts until my brain bleeds. There is something really special about the final product, after grinding it out for hours and hours, days, and weeks, listening to the same tunes over and over, when things come together and that little idea you heard in your head has become something others can hear too.”

Andrew is currently the bass player for Nick Lynch, a country-rock artist based out of Chicago, IL. He also holds a full time position as the modern worship director for a local church in Tinley Park, IL. He released the “Follow My Son EP” with Reveal Worship, along with four singles to CCM radio. 2016 marks the release of Andrew Scott’s first full length album, “Sixspeed” named after the rock band he founded in 2009.

He continues to push boundaries and work within multiple styles of music. He is open to many different opportunities and loves connecting with other artists.

“Though I do have to be very selective due to time and schedule restraints, I am definitely interested and looking for the right projects and individuals to partner and create with. Please contact me!”
